Excellent discussion gentlemen. All points made are very compelling. After watching the video, a question came to mind: I wonder how much time professors put into a thorough review of student work product? Multiple choice testing is (IMHO) easy to grade. But essays, finding "x", and the like can be time consuming.
Just wondering.
Also, I like the video posts. They are interesting and provide multiple perspectives - well done! I hope CCAP continues this method of delivering information. Which is not to say written commentary should be abandoned.
